The Book
|
The "Ajax Design Patterns" (2006) book, published by O'Reilly, contains 70 patterns along with screen shots of examples for each pattern, "In A Blink" sketches for each pattern, an overview of Ajax for technical and non-technical audiences, and coverage of current trends. The book won Linux Journal's 2006 Editor's Choice Award for best software development book. You can order direct from O'Reilly's website (where you can also obtain electronic copies), from Amazon.com, Amazon.co.uk or other online and physical stores. Prior to the patterns, the first three chapters contain: an overview on Ajax, a tutorial on Ajax for those who haven't yet done any hands-on Ajax development, and a discussion of design principles for Ajax. |
