Session State in Ajax
What happen when a Ajax request hit server after the session time out? What will the Response object contain? Will it give you the redirected URL? If so what is the way to get that details.
request object is NULL
Another Question: I want a delayed continuous response from server to be displayed on client using AJAX. Possible? [nairharish at gmail]

What's Ajax?
The "What's Ajax" page starts by describing it's shortcomings. It would be helpful if the page started with a description of what Ajax is, what it does and how a web developer could benefit from using it.

Not not non-proprietary?
"To prevent any confusion, these things are not characteristic of Ajax: Non-Proprietary: "Ajax" is perhaps one of the most common brand names in history, but in context of web design, "Ajax" is neither the name of a company nor a product. It's not even the name of a standard or committee. It's a label for a design approach involving several related technologies."
This implies that Ajax is _not_ non-proprietary, i.e. it is proprietary. I tried to change this myself, but I couldn't get past the spam filter. -17.201.26.202 17:22, 22 June 2007 (EDT)
